Makanjuola Felicitates With Muslims On 1441AH Eid-il-Fitr

The Deputy Chief of Staff to the former Senate President, Hon Gbenga Makanjuola, has felicitated with the Muslim community in Nigeria on the celebration of the Eid-il-fitr.

He also congratulated all Muslims for successfully completing this year's Ramadan fast.

The two term House of Representatives member in a Sallah message urged the Muslim community to pray for the unity and peace of the nation as they celebrate.

Makanjuola called on the Muslim faithful to use the eid-il-fitr celebrations to re-dedicate themselves to the ideals of peace, security and unity.

He advised that citizens should celebrate peacefully and moderately without throwing caution into the wind, owing to the specified measures laid down by the authorities to curb the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Kwara PDP deputy governorship candidate in the 2019 election urged Nigerians to promote religious tolerance, adding that such virtues would ensure peace across the country and enhance national development.

The Omu-Aran prince, while wishing Kwara Muslims a happy celebration, however, commended the Muslim community in his country home for their consistent support for his leadership.
