Says he lacks moral jurisdiction to react to statement

*You are a low-minded sycophant, Tooko berates Danhawa*

The President of a socio-political group, Mai Ja'ama Youth Forum, Mallam Suleiman Tooko has chided the Special Assistant to Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq on Political Matters, AbdulKareem Yusuf Danhawa, who he described as a low-minded and political sycophant, over his reaction on Hon Zakari's take on the one year anniversary of the state governor.

Tooko, while reproaching Danhawa's position on the statement made by Hon. Zakari said it is insensitive to see Danhawa blabbing on media, reacting to the statement to justify his decorated appointment, stating that the architects of modern Kwara will not watch a man watering the tree they planted while arrogating its planting to himself. Yusuf Danhawa lacks every moral right to talk where men of impeccable character like Zaraki are talking.

“It is on note that, Hon. Zakari do not trade unbefitting words with people, especially when such argument is coming from a hypocrite or someone whose 'parentage is under contest', and we do not wish to dignify the author of the rejoinder by any means whatsoever, but we must clear some erroneous aspersions in the write up which may stand as character assassination and misinformation to the public. The likes of Danhawa, whose academic record is blemish can only be patronized by a government that has little or no time for details and investigation, else such a man with mushroom papers is not appointable," he said.

"To place the meat of his misplaced press release in perspective.. As Special Assistant and later Commissioner for sports under Saraki, Zakari initiated the Kwara Football Academy, and as Chairman Kwara United FC, He generated then well over 80million naira from the sale of just  3 players. Obinna Okwu, Chukwuma Akabueze and Akombo Ukeyima. Check this facts with Kwara United management where Zakari  is celebrated and addressed as continental Chairman, because he qualified the state darling team to play in Africa's confederation Cup. Those were the good days of Kwara United. Uptill today, nobody has beaten that record. As Commissioner for Sports, he initiated and completed the renovation of Kwara State Stadium complex before he was moved to Ministry of Energy. On every bit where Zakari served, he left behind unforgettable legacies.

"It is on record that before Hon Zakari Mohammed became Commissioner for Energy, only Ilesha Baruba had national grid. Under his watch Gwanara town got connected to electricity in the process communities  like Tumbuyan, Ayoo, Kpura, Suuru among others got connected to national grid via Hon Zakari's commissionership. The 33 kilometres electricity was awarded to Engr Mohammed Gofe and Hon Idris Buko who are all bonafide sons of Gwanara district. These individuals delivered on the job and there was light in Gwanara. They can be contacted since you all now belong to the same political family, after dropping the camp where all of you and your communities have benefitted so immensely.

Zakari did not stopped at that. He ensured stringing was taken from Ilesha to Chikanda via Bukaru, Shinawu,Subayo, Bfonfon, Bankubu, Okuta, Boriya, Shiya, Kosubosu, Yanri, Gure, Kuburufu, Yashikira terminating in Chikanda. Light was Energised but the epileptic nature of the Kishi-Igboho line has been affecting  the power supply in that axis. Before he left office to contest for the House of Representatives, there was serious commitment by PHCH Ibadan zone now IBEDC to establish a sub-station in Ilesha to give stable power to the area. This would not be complete without about one thausand transformers bought and installed by the then Dr Bukola Saraki's administration. A project he supritended over in addition to the Gamon power plant which late President Yar'Adua graciously commissioned. About 725 communities benefited from an aggressive rural electrfication all over Kwara state. All those were carried out by local contractors under his tenure.

"Raising dust on tractor issue, I think it has been over flogged but one would explain it again. The zonal intervention projects Hon Zakari Mohammed proposed and put in the 2017 budget 2 nos of tractors for Baruten and Kaiama each. But by the time the release came only one tractor was supplied by the contractor, and as an equitable leader, he said they needed to get a second one before the budget is closed. That was not to be because according to the contractor only money for one was given but because of the mischief makers who were peddling all forms of rumours the Zakari gave the tractor to Baruten local government council. Details of this transaction can be traced to National Centre for Agricilture Mechanization, Ilorin Office.

"As a two term member of House of  Representatives, Hon Zakari's performance and achievements outweighed those who had represented us in the past, both in lower and upper chambers of the National Assembly. He constructed and renovated about 80 classrooms spread across the 21 wards of his constituency. The respected parliamentarian did a total of 6 empowerment programmes, where about 800 motorcycles, cars, grinding machines etc were distributed in addition start up capitals that were given to well over 300 widows and women for small scale businesses. Danhawa is also aware of well about 100 boreholes (35 of them motorised) drilled in the constituency. Not to talk of employment opportunities he facilitated. Jobs for about 130 youths of the constituency in both federal and a few state civil service placements. It would intrest you to note that Hon Zakari facilitated the Unity Girls Secondary School in Okuta town as Chairman, Basic Education Committe of the 8th Assembly. The school is the only federal government school established by UBEC in the whole of Kwara north today. Zakari has unbeatable record and we challenge anyone with details of his shaddy deal(s) to come out. When it comes to diversion of public project for personal benefit, Danhawa knows who to meet," he noted.

"Talking about development in Hon Zakari's community 'Gure', I won't only educate Danhawa, but will also place it on record that the former Commissioner is a community leader, hence, he has the following projects to his credit: Construction and completion of Gure mini Dam. He single handedly constructed the Gure Muslim Cementary project. He has completely changed the Ansarul Islam Community Secondary School by constructing a total of 9 classrooms, and a solar powered computer centre with numerous computers. There is currently a girl child community centre which is about 75 percent completed, it was attracted by Hon Zakari. Other schools like ECWA Primary and Secondary School, Jammatul Nasir Primary School have benefited from his kind interventions. 6 motorised boreholes and about 5 hand pump boreholes including the one by the central mosque, Gure, were drilled by him.

"In Kosubosu, the 100 seater capacity town hall was built and handed over to Kosubosu community by the same man you attacked. We can go on and on when it comes to Zakari's achievement. He has no match in entire Kwara north.

"Let me remind Mr Danhawa that its unheard of in Batonou culture for a child to bear his mother's name. This further explains the contradictions and complexities of the life of a man who allowed himself to be used for an onslaught job on a honourable figure.

Suleiman said Danhawa's position is comprehendible since he had no job until his recent appointment. All he's used to was being a pimp to his benefactors. Hon Zakari Mohammed is not and can never be your equal, Yusuf. He was S A. 17years ago and he is well read. His father late Mallam Mohammed Lafia has never been in contention. It is advisable that Danhawa mind his lane and devoid superfluous assignment that could expose him to become unattractive in his new political marriage.

"We are saying that Kwara north agenda of 2023 is Allah's project and non negotiable. The backstabbing of Professor Mahmud Saka and his shabby treatment by the current government calls for our collective resolve to strive not to play the second fiddle always in the Kwara project. A word is enough for the wise!

"If Danhawa could publicly come out to rebuke the system that made him and submitted that the people who matters ultimately are seeing and feeling the good governance AbdulRazaq is delivering, he should wait patiently till 2023 when the same people shall decide between the 'bonanza and actual price', 'fantasy and reality'," Tooko concluded
