Yesterday, I came across a live video on Rayhmon's facebook timeline where Engr Otukoko Olayinka Ibrahim was addressing some Kwarans concerning the development that took place under the leadership of the immediate Senate president, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki when he was the Executive Governor of Kwara State (2003 - 2011).
He (Otukoko) was addressing the people while presenting verifiable facts and data. The good thing about his yesterday outing was that, all what he mentioned as the achievements of Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki are still visible to all and sundry who are ready to verify, learn and let go of their hatred.
Just this morning, I've been reading it on this space and some other WhatsApp platforms where the issue is been reopened and discussed at length. I'm wasn't amused!
Sometimes, you'll be wondering how some of this social media TOUTS think.
For clarification sake, some of this social media TOUTS neglected the main topic while trying act blind and dumb when few roads that was constructed during Bukola Saraki's tenure were mentioned by the guest speaker, Otukoko.
The likes of, Asadam road, Al-Hikmah road that link to Mandate and Warrah and some other roads that I couldn't mention here. These TOUTS prefer to neglect the main message but jump to where he challenged their principal to let them have an open debate.
Something must have bring about the open debate challenge, isn't it? That was because Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq claims Bukola Saraki did nothing as the Executive Governor of Kwara State.
Let firstly understand the word "Debate".
According to Wikipedia, "Debate is a process that involves formal discourse on a particular topic, often including a moderator and audience. In a debate, arguments are put forward for often opposing viewpoints." Who knows if they have little knowledge on what debate is.
Perhaps they thought the challenge was a ploy to ridicule their principal. How I wish someone can tell these people that debate is all about intellectual discussion where you'll show the audiences what you possessed upstair and it'll serve as an avenue for the audiences/listeners to learn a new thing.
It's very significant that the earlier they know that Hovernor Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq is just a SERVANT to them, I and other Kwarans, the better for us all. If they felt he's not competent enough to have a debate with Engr. Olayinka Ibrahim Otukoko, it's very advisable to put a stop to their social media misinformation and thuggery activities instead of exposing the weakness of their principal. Silence, they say, is golden.
Well, being a reader of many articles concerning politics, I know and I believe the outing of yesterday isn't what's affecting majority of them. It's the fear of how and when to engage Otukoko that's making them trembling. Let those who have his/her ear working perfectly know that, yesterday outing was just a tip of the iceberg to what he'll be releasing in days to come.
The KWARA APC social media TOUTS will have to endure the pain.
